Terms and Conditions

The payment is due at the beginning of the term, cheque, cash and online through PayPal accepted (2%charges apply). It is not possible to transfer a payment from one term to the next. It is possible to get a refund for the term within the first two weeks of class, after which the term is non-refundable.

Missed classes: You can make up for missed classes free of charge within a term, missed classes cannot be transfered into another term.

Late Registration: You can join at anytime, although it is preferable to start at the beginning of a term and within the first 2 weeks of classes

Level description:

Absolute Beginner (introduction to flamenco ): This 6-8 week-long course is geared towards students who have never taken flamenco dance before. No experience in any type of dance is required. No partner either and no special shoes or clothing is needed. Flamenco

Beginner 1(first year*): for those who already know the basics, this level will continue strengthening and developping technique ad understanding of flamenco. Also a good evels for those returning after a long abosence from dance.

Beginner 2(second year*): for students with pproximately a year of training (once/week) and for intermediate students (2-3 years) wanting to perfection details and take extra practice. A new choreography will be developped for this class in the fall.

Intermediate (third year*): for students with at least 2-3 years of training (once/week).
A new choreography will be developped for this class in the fall.
It is recommened at this level to take at least twice a week, either a Beginner 2 or Advanced, please ask Maria for a placement.

Advanced (over three years*): for students with more than 3 years of training (once/week).
It is recommened at this level to take at least twice a week.

Taking two levels: the more classes you take, the faster you will improve, twice a week makes a huge difference if you are serious about flamenco or if you are willing to retain the information faster. Please ask Maria for a placement to see what would suit your level best.

Please notice that the speed of learning is individual and depends greatly on how much training and practice the students are able to do. The level /year description should be only an orientation and is based on a once-twice/week attendance.
