individual progress
the more classes you take, the faster you will improve, twice a week makes a huge difference.
If you are serious about flamenco or if youwould like to be able to memorize the material faster, taking twice or three times a week, really makes a difference. Please ask Maria for a placement to see what would suit your level best for an additional class.
Please notice that the speed of learning is individual and varies greatly from person to person. Some people larn faster than others, but this does not mean they are better dancers. Everyone has a different way of retaining visual information and the process for learning movement, is also a learning process within itself.
Besides, it also depends greatly on how much training and practice the students are able to do outside of class, some people are able to practice at home, or at the gym or wherever, and others cannot or don't have the time or desire to d so, both options are perfectly fine, it just means that some students will learn faster than others and the key is not enjoy the dancing for yourseves and to do what suits your goals and your resons for dancing and your schedule. There are students who take 2 or 3 Absolute beginner courses in a row, before they feel comfortable to move on to the next level, and other that move through the level really quickly, ro take privte lessons, or take twice a week. Each person has a different sense and feeling for dancin, while some need to master each step to perfection before they feel ready to move on, others jsut enjoy the music and the movement. The beauty of flamenco is that it is really for everyone and emphasizes individual interpretation and personality.
The level /year description should be only an orientation and is based on a once-twice/week attendance.
