“The truest expression of a people is in its dance and in its music. Bodies never lie”
Agnes de Mille
The word CONTRATIEMPO has a double meaning in Spanish; musically it means “offbeat” and colloquially it means “setback” or “inconvenience”. In flamenco dance and music, to mark the contratiempo means accentuating the weak beats of the rhythm. Intricate, challenging and fascinating at the same time, the contratiempo is an essential part of the flamenco.

DANCE AS IF NOBODY IS WATCHING
Each person that crosses our path will bring out different feelings and emotions within us and our relationships to those close to us, make us who we are. It’s been said that without music, life would be a mistake. Music gives wings to the mind and make us feel. It has also been said that dance is the hidden language of the soul. So dance like there is nobody watching, sing like there’s nobody listening and love like you will never be hurt again, because in the end, our emotions is all we have.
