First ever Seville’s April Fair in Halifax!
Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 April, 2023
Free. Family friendly. All Welcome!
At the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, Halifax
Light, colour and joy define Seville’s April Fair – an annual event that dates back to 1848 in which for a week, the joy of life is celebrated through dance, music, art and gastronomy. Families and organizations set up “casetas” (pop-up tents) in which they welcome visitors and passers-by, all dressed up for the occasion.
Our dates coincide with the last days of the 2023 Seville’s April Fair and with International Dance Day (April 29).
We aim to inherit the fair’s spirit and have the pleasure of inviting you to participate in this uplifting and unique Spanish cultural experience.
Our vision is to create moments in time where we connect as a community, immersed through our senses in the aesthetic, culture, sound and moves of flamenco.
Our Program
In the weeks leading up to our Seville’s April Fair in Halifax weekend and also over the two days of the fair, we will present a variety of cultural workshops, displays and performances.
